Congratulations to all of the winners and participants of the Brooklyn Beer Experiment today at the Bell House! We want to give a special "three cheers!" of recognition to women brewers. They were representing today and won prizes in two categories with their "Pocket full of Sunshine" ale. More of you ladies out there should start brewing beer.
My personal favorites included the winner of the first place crowd favorite award, the Airmail IPA, and the sadly unrecognized Mad Elephant Indian Pale Ale.
If anyone hears word of anymore upcoming homebrew competitions in town, send us an email and we'll spread the word.

Thought the experiment went extremely well. Thought all the food was delicious. Especially the S'mores, and the braised beef with the potato salad....he won the peoples #1. All the beer was tasty. I do wonder if the plastic tasters (imagine Nyquil dose cup)added a plastic flavor, because the first two beers tasted like plastic...one of them won an award by the people. I really enjoyed the DIPA, and the Golden Pale Ale. I hope that there are even more next time.
